GET MODERN SALES

Finding and building products that I love and selling them through a multilayered sales infrastructure

Thank you for coming to visit us. Our page is developing as we enter the next phase of our business development.

Get Modern Sales is working to become the liaison between the Hemp Industry and home goods industries.  Imagine going into a furniture store and seeing how everything could be made out of a more natural, more sustainable material.  Better for the earth, better for us!  That is how we see the world.

Hemp, natural fibers, sustainable, environmentally conscious, recycled and upcycled are the solutions.

GMS is starting to partner with source suppliers and develop products as this new era unfolds.   The first product is HempWood® and HempWood® flooring. Get Modern Sales is now an Official HempWood® Factory Rep.

HempWood® is an engineered hardwood product. Developed by CEO Greg Wilson, HempWood® is made through a process of adhesion, compression, and baking.   First, full-length fiber hemp stalks are sub- merged in an all-natural soy-based adhesive. After saturation, the hemp stalks are spread evenly on racks and placed into a dryer to lower the moisture content. After drying, the stalks are weighed into portions. The portions of hemp stalks are then compressed under 3,000 tons of pressure into 5.5 x 5.5 x 72” steel molds.  After pressing the dried hemp into the molds, the blocks are baked until the catalyst in the glue is activated, which makes the HempWood® blocks solid.  From the blocks, HempWood® lumber, flooring, panels, woodturning blanks, picture frames, table, and cabinet kits are made.
